About the Artist:   Vernis Maxwell was born and raised in rural Missouri. After a long detour as an oil & gas executive, he has ditched the suits for hiking boots and his camera bag. He is experienced in nature/wildlife photography, architectural photography, sports photography, photojournalism, and magazine editorship.
